Friday, October 17
Bebop Series (Non-ticketed events)
Bebop Parade
4:00 pm: Everyone is welcome to come join the fun as we bebop from Dizzy Park on Huger Street, down Kershaw Street and ending downtown at Centennial Park. Join in at any point of the parade route. Bikes, trikes, golf carts and dancing shoes are welcome. The Equinox Jazz Band from Savannah, Ga., will perform. This “second line” jazz parade is sponsored by Reid’s Funeral Home.

Cheraw Has Jazz!
Downtown Cheraw is the perfect place to celebrate a day alive with jazz and the arts with family and friends. Enjoy an exhibit by the Artisans of the South Carolina Cotton Trail. Try your skills at being the next famous madonnari (that’s Italian for a street painter). There will be plenty of food available at area restaurants and from food vendors. No coolers please.

3:00 pm: St. David’s Episcopal Church
Corner of Huger and Market Streets
Open to the entire community, participants will have an opprtunity to sing, pray and worship. Familiar hymns will be sung with a jazz flavor using keyboards, guitars and brass. Seating will be available and open areas will be arranged to accomodate families and children. In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved inside.

Rain Locations
In the event of rain, all Centennial Park events will be moved to the Theatre on the Green and all Main Stage events will be held at the Cheraw Community Center.
