BEBOP PARADE
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Dizzy Gillespie Park
Join the fun and bebop from Dizzy Park down Kershaw Street ending at Centennial Park. Join in at any point. Bikes, trikes, golf carts and dancing shoes welcomed. Fort Jackson’s 282nd Army Jazz Band Combo will perform. This “second line” jazz parade is sponsored by Reid’s Funeral Home. In case of rain, parade will be cancelled.

The festival concludes with community worship. On the church grounds, area clergy, choirs and accompanists will lead worship set in the tones of soulful jazz. Seating available, or bring a lawn chair.

Advanced tickets for the Featured Evening Concerts are available at the Cheraw Community Center Monday-Friday 8:30 am until 5:00 pm or by visiting www.scjazzfestival.com. The Two-Day Weekend Pass is $25.00, and the Single Evening Pass is $15.00. Weekend Pass holders, 21 or older, are invited to a Free Wine Tasting Saturday 4:00-5:00 pm at The Wine Factory. Featured artists will be the Sarah Kervin Trio. Most of the weekend’s activities are free. Check schedule for details. During the festival weekend, tickets and souvenirs will be available at Market Hall (Market & Second streets) from 10:00 am-8:00 pm Friday and Saturday. Rain Locations
In the event of rain, all Centennial Park events will be moved to the Theatre on the Green and all Second Street Main Stage events will be held at the Cheraw Community Center.
